S&P 500 and Nasdaq rose after US jobless claims fell for the fourth consecutive week, with S&P 500 up over 0.05% and Nasdaq Composite rising by 0.02%.
Dow, however, was down by 0.5% on the same day.
Prior to this rise, S&P 500 was close to record highs and Nasdaq Composite had reached a fresh record high with Nvidia surpassing a $4 trillion market cap.
The S&P 500 closed near its record high, with Nasdaq Composite and Dow also ending Wednesday's session with gains.
