President Donald Trump and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer have reached a trade agreement to reduce tariffs on British cars, benefiting automakers like Jaguar Land Rover, Rolls-Royce, and Bentley.
The deal lowers tariffs on British cars from 27.5 percent to 10 percent, allowing British automakers to export up to 100,000 vehicles at the reduced rate.
However, some models like the Discovery and Defender, built in Slovakia, are still subject to the higher 27.5 percent tariff.
The agreement also includes benefits for British metal imports, potentially preventing an industry collapse.
