Nintendo announced its Switch 2 Joy-Cons could be used as a mouse in either hand during its Switch 2 Direct.
The new Joy-Con 2 has been given extra heft and sturdiness compared to the first iteration, with the ability to register on different types of surfaces.
Using the Joy-Con mouse in games like Metroid Prime 4: Beyond felt fairly natural for aiming and looking around, although the adjustment to button placement was slightly confusing.
However, the experience of using the Joy-Con mouse in games like Drag x Drive was less intuitive and required significant space for the mouse movements.
