Google is introducing Ultra-wideband (UWB) support to its Find My Device network, starting with the Moto Tag later this month.
The UWB chip in the tag has been inactive and will now enable more precise location tracking for nearby tags.
Despite the introduction of UWB support, the author suggests that it may not solve all issues with Google's Find My Device network and its compatible tags.
The author emphasizes that while UWB is a welcomed feature, other improvements might still be necessary based on their experience with the network and alternative trackers for Android.
