V&A East Storehouse announces new details on the David Bowie Centre set to open on September 13th, 2025, in London, England.
The centre will house over 90,000 items from David Bowie's personal archive, including handwritten lyrics, costumes, photos, and design sketches, allowing visitors to view them up close.
The archive showcases Bowie's various artistic identities, with highlights such as the Glass Spider Tour and guest-curated displays by artists like Nile Rodgers, offering insights into his collaborations and personal life.
The David Bowie Centre is made possible by contributions from the David Bowie Estate, the Blavatnik Family Foundation, and Warner Music Group, and is part of the larger V&A Archive holding works from other renowned artists.
