Valve's SteamOS update 3.7.8 now supports rivals of Steam Deck, including Lenovo's Legion Go and Asus' ROG Ally series.
Enhancements in the update include improved support for third-party devices and other AMD-powered handhelds, bug fixes, and a new 'Steam OS Compatible' library tab on handheld devices.
Third-party devices require to be AMD-powered and have an NVMe SSD to run SteamOS on handhelds; specific installation instructions have been updated.
Additional features include a battery-saving option for the Steam Deck, improvements in Linux base, Mesa graphics driver, desktop feature, and various bug fixes.
