Verizon Frontline supported the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) during Mardi Gras by providing Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) services.
The Crisis Response Team flew over 140 drone missions, totaling more than 45 hours in the air, to enhance public safety and situational awareness.
UAS operations gave officers a better view of large crowds, improved threat detection, and facilitated faster decision-making.
Verizon Frontline's advanced drone technology and commitment to public safety were recognized by NOPD, strengthening the partnership between the two organizations.
