<ul><li>Visa is laying off hundreds of employees in the Bay Area, including senior vice presidents, vice presidents, senior directors, directors, engineers, and technical program managers.</li><li>The impacted employees will receive severance packages, counseling, and outplacement assistance.</li><li>This layoff round follows a previous round in November, where 91 employees were let go.</li><li>Visa had planned to reduce its workforce by around 1,400 employees and contractors by the end of 2024 as part of an effort to streamline its global operations.</li></ul>
