Visa is laying off hundreds of employees in the Bay Area, including senior vice presidents, vice presidents, senior directors, directors, engineers, and technical program managers.
The impacted employees will receive severance packages, counseling, and outplacement assistance.
This layoff round follows a previous round in November, where 91 employees were let go.
Visa had planned to reduce its workforce by around 1,400 employees and contractors by the end of 2024 as part of an effort to streamline its global operations.
