Apple is developing an eye-scrolling feature for its Vision Pro headset with visionOS 3, allowing users to navigate software using their eyes for a more intuitive interface.
The new feature will utilize Vision Pro's existing eye-tracking hardware and software, set to be introduced at Apple's annual developer conference in June.
Eye-scrolling will work across all Apple's built-in apps on the Vision Pro, with plans to enable developers to integrate the technology into their software.
While Samsung had previously attempted eye-scrolling on smartphones, the feature did not gain traction, but Apple is adding new features to Vision Pro to showcase its capabilities.
