<ul><li>VMware has released a new version of VMware Tools for Windows to address an authentication bypass vulnerability (CVE-2025-22230).</li><li>The vulnerability could allow an attacker with non-administrative privileges to perform high-privilege operations within the virtual machine.</li><li>The recommended solution is to upgrade to VMware Tools version 12.5.1 for 64-bit Windows and version 12.4.6 for 32-bit Windows.</li><li>The latest version also includes fixes for an Elevation of Privilege vulnerability and an issue with OpenGL applications.</li></ul>
