Volvo has unveiled the upcoming ES90 electric sedan with a range of 434 miles and advanced technology like Nvidia's Drive AGX Orin computer.The ES90 will have the longest range, fastest charging speed, and most advanced computing system compared to other Volvo vehicles.It will come in three variants with different power outputs and battery sizes, including a Performance trim with 670hp.The ES90 will feature new battery management software allowing for rapid range gain during charging.With an 800-volt system, the ES90 can gain 186 miles of range in 10 minutes and charge 10-80% in 20 minutes.The ES90 blends sedan and SUV design elements, with high-riding features and a sleek profile similar to the Polestar 2.It includes Google's infotainment system, Snapdragon Cockpit Platform, and dual Nvidia computers for advanced functionalities.Built on Volvo's SPA2 architecture, the ES90 aims to improve safety and efficiency through over-the-air updates.Volvo plans for the ES90 to be its sixth all-electric vehicle, aligning with its goal to have 90 to 100 percent electrified models by 2030.The ES90 is currently available for order in Europe, with plans for US availability to be announced at a later date.
