<ul><li>Virtuix, the Austin-based hardware startup, gained significant attention after its product was featured in Steven Spielberg's film, Ready Player One.</li><li>Before the film's pre-production, writer Ernest Cline was already familiar with early versions of Virtuix's product and as part of a Kickstarter campaign in 2013, he received 50 signed copies of his book.</li><li>Virtuix is finally ready to begin shipping a home version of its treadmill, the Omni One, which is priced at $2,595 and bundled with a customized Pico Neo 3 headset.</li><li>Virtuix's treadmill relies on a concave design and slip-on shoe covers to simulate VR movement.</li></ul>
