VRL Logistics has approved a bonus issue in the ratio of 1:1, entitling shareholders to one new fully paid-up equity share for every existing share they own.
The bonus shares will be issued by capitalizing free reserves and accumulated surplus, doubling the company's paid-up share capital.
VRL Logistics' scrip initially rose 1.81% post the announcement, reaching Rs 605.80, but later traded 0.17% lower at Rs 594.05 apiece.
As of now, out of 10 analysts tracking the company, nine suggest a 'buy' rating, with an average 12-month consensus price target indicating a 15.5% upside.
