Eldramoor: Haven in the Mist is set to launch a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign next week to create a new VR MMORPG.
The game aims to revive the fun of the closed VR MMO Orbus VR, targeting Quest 3 and SteamVR headsets for a late 2026 release.
Developer Resolute Games, founded by ex-Orbus players in February 2024, plans to offer a mystical journey with diverse gameplay elements.
Eldramoor will feature various playable classes, raids, dungeons, PvP zones, mini-games, and activities like fishing and smithing.
The initial funding goal is $25,000, similar to the game Zenith, and the Kickstarter campaign will launch on June 24th.
The VR MMORPG genre has seen challenges with Orbus VR shutting down, while Ilysia VR remains active after a successful Kickstarter.
Eldramoor is expected to release in December 2026 for PC VR, Meta Quest 3, and other standalone headsets, with an alpha release targeted for late 2025.
The anticipated beta testing is set for Summer 2026, and the Kickstarter campaign will run from June 24th to July 24th.
The game's Steam page is live for wishlisting, and more details will be available during the Kickstarter launch.
The industry has seen the emergence of VR MMORPGs like Zenith and Ilysia, providing new experiences for players.
Resolute Games aims to deliver a unique VR MMORPG experience with Eldramoor, building on the concepts of existing games in the genre.
