Automotive finance company and digital services platform Vroom has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.Vroom plans to operate as a 'debtor-in-possession' under the jurisdiction of the bankruptcy court.The company's subsidiaries, including United Auto Credit Corp. and CarStory, are not expected to file for Chapter 11.Vroom aims to eliminate its unsecured notes and expects to emerge from the prepackaged Chapter 11 case by the end of the year or early 2025.
