The locations to be shut down are in Austin, Texas; Carlsbad, California; and Portland, Oregon.</li><li>Employees in these locations have been asked to relocate to other Walmart offices in places like San Bruno, California or Bentonville, Arkansas, in order to keep their jobs.</li><li>The company has expressed hopes that most workers will relocate, and those who choose not to will be given severance pay.</li></ul>
