Games Workshop, the maker of Warhammer 40,000, is giving a £20 million bonus (approx. $27 million) to its staff amidst a period of strong performance.
The company reported a core revenue of £560 million, up from £494.7 million, and licensing revenue of £50 million, up from £31 million for the year ending June 1, 2025.
Games Workshop's profits increased significantly with pre-tax earnings of £255 million, compared to £203 million, leading to the significant bonus distribution of around £13,333 (≈ $18,000) per employee among its ~1,500 staff.
The company's intellectual property (IP) expansion saw success with hit games like Space Marine 2, upcoming projects like Space Marine 3, Amazon's Secret Level animation, and the development of a Warhammer cinematic universe featuring Henry Cavill, all contributing to record-high licensing revenue.
