Vietnam set a new Guinness World Record with 10,518 synchronized drones in a light show commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification.
The record was officially recognized by Guinness as the largest drone light show by number of drones flying simultaneously, despite the cancellation of the official public event where it was supposed to take place.
The drones formed images such as national emblems, historical scenes, and city skylines in the performance powered by DAMODA, a Chinese company known for its large-scale aerial displays.
DAMODA has a history of setting Guinness World Records with drones, including a 10,000-drone record at the CCTV Spring Festival Gala in 2024, and has a high reliability rate with over 10,000 performances to date.
