Meta, the company behind Ray-Ban smart glasses, confirms that visual and audio inputs captured by the glasses may be used to train its smart assistant.
Meta only trains its AI on the images and videos shared by users through features like Look and Ask.
Users who do not use the AI analysis tools or live in regions without access to Meta AI can keep their snaps private, unless they share them on platforms like Facebook and Instagram.
There is currently no way to use AI image analysis and keep submitted pictures private, as consent to share images is required to opt-in to the feature.
