Water Level In Karnataka Reservoirs Rise Amid Monsoon Rain; Check Latest Dam Levels

  • After heavy rainfall in the past few days, several reservoirs in Karnataka are nearing their maximum capacity, with some already reaching significant levels.
  • The Linganamakki reservoir is 22% full compared to 15.63 TMC at the same time last year, while the Supa dam and Varahi reservoir have also seen increased water levels.
  • Water levels in various other reservoirs like Harangi, Hemavathi, K.R.S, Kabini, Bhadra, and Tungabhadra have also shown notable increases.
  • IMD predicts more rainfall in the coming days for coastal and south interior Karnataka, with heavy to very heavy showers expected till June 1.
