After heavy rainfall in the past few days, several reservoirs in Karnataka are nearing their maximum capacity, with some already reaching significant levels.
The Linganamakki reservoir is 22% full compared to 15.63 TMC at the same time last year, while the Supa dam and Varahi reservoir have also seen increased water levels.
Water levels in various other reservoirs like Harangi, Hemavathi, K.R.S, Kabini, Bhadra, and Tungabhadra have also shown notable increases.
IMD predicts more rainfall in the coming days for coastal and south interior Karnataka, with heavy to very heavy showers expected till June 1.
