DRDO scientist Sudhir Kumar Mishra highlighted that all technologies for the BrahMos missile were developed in-house by the defence research organisation, including the world's largest launcher.
Mishra mentioned that India is on the verge of a significant defence achievement with the upcoming launch of an indigenous hypersonic missile capable of reaching Mach 5 speed.
He emphasized the impact and advancements of the BrahMos missile, stating that over 130 tests were conducted to continually enhance its parameters and quality.
In a panel discussion on Indian defence technology, Mishra discussed the development of the BrahMos NG (next generation) missile at the Lucknow facility to meet increased demand and improve efficiency.
