Venture capital funding into Indian startups saw a marginal increase in the last week of March.
Total funding during this week came in at $191 million across 26 deals, compared to $110 million in the previous week.
The VC inflow on a weekly basis has fluctuated between $412 million and $110 million, reflecting the challenges faced by the Indian startup ecosystem in raising consistent capital.
While the number of large deals above $100 million has been sparse, there have been interesting developments with VC firms raising fresh capital and startups raising funding.
