Mahindra's iconic off-roader SUV, the Thar, is getting a new 5-door variant called the Thar ROXX.
The Thar ROXX offers practicality via two extra doors and an extended wheelbase while retaining the Thar's renowned capabilities.
The interiors of the Thar ROXX have been completely revamped to feature a 26.03cm touch screen display, fully digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, and a Harmon Kardon-tuned sound system.
The Thar ROXX will come in at least 3-4 variants similar to the current Thar lineup, offering customization options for buyers.
Under the hood, the Thar ROXX comes equipped with a 2.0-liter turbo-petrol motor or a 2.2-liter diesel mill, with transmission options including 6-speed manuals or 6-speed automatics.
The Thar ROXX promises better comfort without diluting any of the original Thar's immense off-road capabilities.
The Thar ROXX also offers increased safety features above the current Thar lineup, including up to six airbags, electronic stability control, and more.
The Thar ROXX was launched in India at an introductory starting price of Rs 12.99 lakh for the base petrol version and Rs 13.99 lakh for the base diesel.
Mahindra's Thar ROXX enhances practicality and comfort without compromising on the iconic SUV's off-road appeal and promises to be an exciting new adventure-ready SUV.
The Thar ROXX offers an authentic Thar experience with modern creature comforts, generous features, and enhanced safety that'll appeal to thrill-seeking families.
