What’s new with Google Cloud
- Google Cloud has made its Cluster ToolKit available via Cloud Console for eligible support plan customers to simplify the process of deploying HPC, AI, and ML workloads on Google Cloud.
- Google Cloud's Backup and DR service has launched a public preview of backup vaults, providing secure backups for VMs and databases, protecting from accidental or malicious data deletion.
- Nvidia L4 GPU support is added to Cloud Run in preview to scale up Real Time Inference apps.
- BigQuery continuous queries is now available in public preview, empowering users to run continuously processing SQL statements that can process, analyze, and transform the data as new events arrive in BigQuery. Native integration with the Google Cloud ecosystem unlocks the ability of Vertex AI and Gemini to perform machine learning inference on incoming data in real time.
- Google Cloud introduces AutoPilot capabilities, which include Adaptive AutoVacuum, Automatic storage tiering, and technology that eliminates the need for manual Cluster Storage Space manual management.
- Google Cloud Identity Platform now supports Passkeys, which allow developers to authenticate their app's end users securely and protect them from account takeover attacks like Phishing and leaked credentials.
- Google Cloud launches Modern SecOps Masterclass course on Coursera offering security professionals cutting-edge skills to modernize their Security Orperations Centers using Continuous Detection, Continuous Response methodology.
- Google Commerce announced by Kin + Carta on Google Cloud adds Integrated Commerce Network (ICN) for an end-to-end solution with 3 premier digital commerce partners.
