Chu decided to steer away from the ruby shoes, opting to reference them instead in the Popular musical number in the first movie.</li><li>Despite the differences, these Wizard of Oz adaptations continue to draw inspiration from the original film which remains influential to the story. 'Wicked: For Good' is set to release on Nov. 21.</li></ul>
