Microsoft is offering an Extended Security Updates (ESU) program for Windows 10 users who are unwilling or unable to upgrade to Windows 11 after support ends in 2025.
The ESU program will provide an additional year of security updates for Windows 10, but no new features.
Users can enroll in the program for $30, and it will be available near the end-of-support deadline in October 2025.
This is an effort by Microsoft to keep Windows 10 users secure while encouraging them to upgrade to Windows 11.
