Windows 11 24H2 may crash your PC if you have a certain SSD
- Users are experiencing constant blue screens of death (BSOD) after updating to Windows 11 24H2.
- The crashes appear to be limited to certain Western Digital SSD models that request a 200MB host memory buffer (HMB).
- The 24H2 update grants the full 200MB HMB, causing the crash for affected SSDs.
- Rolling back the update or using a workaround to disable HMB are current solutions.
