Windows 11 24H2 update leaves behind an undeletable 8.63GB cache of files.
The bug prevents Disk Cleanup feature from removing the temporary files.
The issue is related to 'checkpoint cumulative updates' introduced in Windows 11 24H2.
Microsoft is aware of the problem and a fix will be included in a future update.
