Windows 11 now comes with its own adware
- The latest update to Windows 11 (KB5036980) includes ads for apps in the 'recommended' section of the Start Menu.
- The app suggestions can be disabled in the Settings > Personalization > Start menu.
- Microsoft implemented this feature quickly without giving enough time for user feedback.
- While the removal of ads is possible, it reminds users of past experiences with OEM Windows bloatware.
