Microsoft is revamping the Windows 11 Start menu with a broader layout, enhanced customization, and AI-powered integrations.
The redesigned menu will allow for up to eight app icons per row and a single, continuous scroll for 'All Apps', reducing taps to launch frequently used applications.
Users can now hide the Recommended section in the Start menu, granting uncluttered access to their app grid.
The refreshed Start menu is currently available to Windows Insiders in the Dev and Canary channels, with a general release planned for Windows 11 version 24H2 later this month.
