A new Windows Hello bug is locking users out after Microsoft's latest security patch.
The bug is affecting users with Dynamic Root of Trust for Measurement (DRTM) or System Guard Secure Launch enabled who use the system's 'Reset this PC' option and choose 'Keep my Files' during recovery.
Microsoft is offering workarounds for the Windows Hello bug, including re-enrolling in Windows Hello for PIN access and setting up facial recognition again from scratch.
This bug adds to the list of recent issues caused by Windows updates, including the uninstallation of Copilot and blue or black screen errors due to SenseShield's sprotect.sys driver.
