<ul><li>Wisk, a leading designer of eVTOL air taxis, has signed a deal with the City of Sugar Land near Houston, TX for drone passenger service.</li><li>Wisk and the city will establish a vertiport at the Sugar Land Regional Airport, serving as the hub for a wider eVTOL network in the greater Houston region.</li><li>Tentative plans for vertiports at four other locations on the outskirts of Houston, including Woodlands and Galleria, are in place.</li><li>Wisk aims to offer autonomous or pilot-less flights and plans to have its first eVTOLs ready for experimental flights by the end of 2028.</li></ul>
