SpaceX has launched a cupola-equipped Crew Dragon from the Kennedy Space Center.
The cupola, a dome-shaped window, is the largest single window ever to have flown to space.
It offers panoramic views of Earth and beyond but replaces the docking port, limiting its use for missions not involving rendezvousing with the International Space Station.
The cupola is made from acrylic and polycarbonate and has flown on three missions, including one that allowed the commander to conduct the first-ever commercial spacewalk.
