Xbox Removing Avatars Because You All Forgot About Them
- Microsoft is removing avatars on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S consoles next year.
- Avatars were introduced in 2008 but have been pushed aside in recent years.
- Avatars will be removed on January 9, 2025, due to low engagement.
- Players who made avatar purchases since November 1, 2023, will be refunded.
