Xcode 16 Folders and Groups
- In Xcode 16, project files and folders are arranged differently in the Project navigator.
- Groups have been replaced with folders and this change has some interesting effects.
- Differences include the order of files & folders, the color of folder icons, and the ability to move files at the same level.
- Using folders reflects the file and folder structure directly from the Finder and has implications for source control.
