Foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) were net sellers of Indian equities on Tuesday for the second consecutive session, offloading equities worth Rs 5,901.63 crore.
The FPIs were net sellers of index futures and stock options, while they were buyers of index options and stock futures.
Meanwhile, domestic institutional investors remained net buyers for the third consecutive session, acquiring equities worth Rs 4,322.58 crore.
The foreign institutional investors' (FIIs) long-to-short ratio in index futures stands at 30:70.
