YouTube is testing a new two-person Premium subscription tier in select countries like India, France, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
The new tier offers a more affordable option for pairs wanting ad-free viewing without opting for a full family plan.
Similar to Spotify's Duo plan, the two-person Premium plan is designed for two people at the same address.
This move by YouTube aims to provide greater flexibility and value to its Premium subscribers and potentially recover canceled subscriptions after recent price increases.
