Zeekr 7X in China – electric SUV rivals BYD Sealion 7, up to 646 PS, 780 km range, coming to Malaysia 2025
- The 7X is a new electric SUV from Zeekr, designed to rival the Tesla Model Y and the BYD Sealion 7 in China.
- Available in single-motor rear and dual-motor all-wheel-drive variants, the 7X offers up to 646 PS and 710 Nm of torque.
- Inside, the 7X boasts a 13.02-inch digital instrument display, augmented reality head-up display, and a 16-inch mini-LED infotainment touchscreen.
- The SUV is also equipped with five plush seats and heating, ventilation, and massage functions.
- The 7X offers two battery options - a 75 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) unit and a 100 kWh nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) pack.
- The LFP battery provides a range of 605 km, while the NMC pack gives up to 780 km of range on a single charge.
- The 7X has a customisable, full-width dot-matrix display across the front fascia, making it unique in this segment.
- Zeekr is planning to launch the 7X in Malaysia in 2025, but not all features are expected to make the transition to other countries.
- The car comes with lidar sensors above the windscreen for highly automated driving on highways and city streets.
- Prices for the 7X in Malaysia have not been announced yet.
