Zepto's ad vertical has grown its annualized revenue run-rate (ARR) 5X in the past year, crossing the $200M ARR milestone compared to $40M ARR last year.
Zepto CEO Aadit Palicha mentioned that the company has built a high-quality, performance ad stack out of India, offering various advertising services such as bidding, attribution, and campaign management.
The quick commerce platform is focusing on new categories such as electronics, general merchandise, apparel, and cosmetics to strengthen its revenue.
Zepto utilized AI to automate aspects of its ad business, improving ad spend returns for its advertisers like Unilever, P&G, and Coca-Cola.
