The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has fined Zong Rs68.9 million for failing to meet service quality standards in Peshawar.
Zong's network availability dropped to 92.52% and data throughput was at 4.85 Mbps, much lower than regulatory thresholds.
The PTA also issued warnings to Jazz, Telenor, and Ufone for various service deficiencies.
PTA has overseen infrastructure upgrades in Peshawar, but power outages, security concerns, and equipment theft continue to affect service reliability.
