SAG-AFTRA game actors and major publishers reached a tentative agreement that includes 'necessary AI guardrails' for performances.
The agreement involves 10 major companies including Activision, Disney, Electronic Arts, and WB Games.
The strike suspension terms are still being negotiated, thus actors will remain on strike for a little longer until the agreement is ratified.
The strike, lasting nearly a year, stemmed from concerns over AI potentially replicating or altering actors' voices and movements in game performances.
