The refreshed Tesla Model Y, called the Juniper, is set to arrive in the U.S. in March with a starting price of $59,990.
Compared to the current model, the Juniper offers a small range boost of 320 miles, faster acceleration with 0-60 mph in 4.1 seconds, and improved features such as Full-Self Driving (Supervised) as standard and powered second-row seats.
The Juniper features sleek design updates inspired by the Robotaxi and Cybertruck, including a full-width light bar and a quieter cabin with upgraded suspension and acoustic glass.
Tesla hopes to boost its sales with the new Model Y as its lineup ages and competitors catch up, and more affordable versions of the Juniper are expected in the future.
