Alliance Peacefighter, inspired by Wing Commander and X-Wing, is a story-driven space sim coming to PC VR next week.
Developed by Manchester-based studio Urban Logic Games, the game aims for an aesthetic between Homeworld and Star Fox, paying tribute to the golden age of space sims.
In Alliance Peacefighter, players take on the role of a newly qualified Alliance pilot in a battle between galactic superpowers, offering full control over the ship's power and shields in a hybrid game for flatscreen and VR.
The game is set to launch on Steam on June 4 with support for motion controllers, gamepads, HOTAS joysticks, and Steam Deck, with potential expansion to other platforms based on its success.
