Google has introduced a new 90/10 split-screen mode in the latest Android Canary update for better multitasking on tall screens.
In the 90/10 split, one app can occupy 90% of the screen while the second app takes up the remaining 10%, allowing users to focus on one app while having another app open for multitasking purposes.
The new 90/10 split-screen option does not replace the existing 70/30 split but is an additional choice based on user feedback to provide more flexibility.
The feature was under development and is now available in the July update of Android Canary, reflecting Google's focus on optimizing Android for larger screens and improving multitasking capabilities.
