Auracast support for hearing aids is coming to Android phones, allowing people to tune in to audio broadcasts in places where it's hard to hear.
Auracast, a Bluetooth Audio LE feature, allows hearing aid users to connect directly to audio streams like public announcements and concert feeds.
At launch, Samsung Galaxy phones running One UI 7 and Google Pixel 9 phones with Android 16 beta will support Auracast.
Android 16 has reached platform stability, moving it closer to its full launch, and aligning with Google's plan to shift its Android release schedule forward this year.
