Apple has chartered cargo flights to airlift 600 tons of iPhones, or as many as 1.5 million, from India to the United States. The move comes in response to the economic chaos caused by President Donald Trump's tariffs.Apple aims to beat the tariff on iPhones by increasing production in India, which has a lower tariff rate compared to China. The cost of an iPhone could triple in price to $3,500 if it were manufactured in the United States instead of China and India.
