Foreign-branded mobile phone sales in China, including Apple's iPhones, saw a slight increase in April, with shipments rising to 3.52 million units compared to 3.50 million units last year.
Apple's performance in China is crucial as it is the largest foreign mobile phone maker in the country's smartphone market dominated by domestic brands.
This increase comes after a 9% drop in Apple's phone sales in China in the first quarter of the year, according to data from the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT).
Apple continues to make announcements, including a new series on Apple TV+ and the facilitation of $406 billion in developer billings and sales by the App Store ecosystem in 2024.
