Apple shareholders have voted to retain the company's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs.
The proposal to scrap the DEI scheme was submitted by the National Center for Public Policy Research, but shareholders rejected it with 97% of the votes.
Apple's board had recommended voting against the proposal, stating that the company has appropriate checks and balances in place.
Other tech firms like Google, Amazon, and Meta have scrapped some of their DEI policies, but Apple remains committed to its diversity program.
