Apple’s new iPhone sales surged 20% in China during initial three weeks year over year, according to research firm Counterpoint.
The iPhone 16 Pro and flagship Pro Max models performed particularly well, with combined sales rising 44% compared to last year's models.
Counterpoint analyst Ivan Lam noted that the smooth production ramp-up, consistent pricing strategy, and initial wave of upgrades from existing iPhone users contributed to the substantial growth.
This positive sales performance suggests that Apple's 2024 launch is outperforming last year's performance in China.
