<ul data-eligibleForWebStory="true">Apple Music in iOS 26 received a Liquid Glass design overhaul and a new feature called AutoMix.AutoMix facilitates seamless song transitions using time stretching and beat matching, aiming to mimic a DJ's transitions. The feature transitions songs at the 'perfect moment' based on key and tempo analysis, replacing Crossfade in Apple Music.AutoMix is currently available in the developer beta of iOS 26 and has received positive feedback from testers.Although AutoMix uses intelligent beat matching, it is not an Apple Intelligence feature and works on various iPhone models.Subscription to Apple Music is required to access AutoMix, which is not limited to newer iPhones.Other new features in Apple Music include Lyrics Translation, Lyrics Pronunciation, and the ability to pin favorite playlists.A pinned music widget on the Home and Lock Screens is introduced for easy access to favorite playlists.iOS 26 is currently available for developers and will have a public beta release in July, with a full launch expected in the fall.
